The Climate Futures Initiative in Science, Values and Policy (CFI) will host the online asynchronous workshop “Bridging Gaps of Affluence, Nation and Time” Monday, Aug. 10, through Monday, Aug. 24. Twelve authors will provide works-in-progress in video and/or written form on research that explores and evaluates how institutions, policies and technologies might allow us to deal fairly and effectively with climate change, which has been called a “perfect moral storm” due to its impact on people of different material, generational and national circumstances.
