Sheats will discuss a policy mechanism that ensures that climate change-mitigation policies improve the health of environmental-justice communities — defined in this presentation as Indigenous, Of-Color, and low-income communities — by reducing emissions of locally harmful greenhouse gas co-pollutants from power plants that impact these areas.
