Federal climate policy is necessary now. We believe in the importance of working collaboratively across the aisle and across key sectors to identify a set of policies that will result in the development of practical solutions that can be enacted quickly. As members of the CEO Climate Dialogue, we believe that to be enacted, policies must be durable and effective market-based approaches focused on equity for all communities while significantly reducing emissions and supporting the competitiveness of the U.S. economy. We see an opportunity for this kind of approach and want to seize it given the urgency of the problem and the complexity of the challenge ahead.
