On 16 November, the UK Science & Innovation Network and Second Nature will host a webinar that will help researchers understand where their research can be most impactful
throughout the COP process, as well as understand how the US and UK academic communities can work together on these important issues. Featuring RINGO Co-Focal Points Tracy Bach and Beth Martin, UK COP 26 Universities Network Lead Alyssa Gilbert, and the UK Cabinet Office’s COP 26 Academic Engagement Lead Mia Kett, you will learn about the Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (RINGO) and its role in the UNFCCC process, explore how researchers can most effectively engage with the negotiations, and connect with British academics and government representatives who are working to inform and decide the UK’s climate goals.
