Meet Climate Access intern Victoria Nielsen, graduate student working towards a Master’s of Public Policy, with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Policy. To become a Climate Access Intern in the spring 2014 semester, see information here. 

A 2011 graduate of Rutgers with a B.A. in Environmental Policy, Institutions and Behaviors, Victoria interned with Climate Access through Rutgers Initiative on Climate and Society (now Rutgers Climate Institute). As both an undergraduate and graduate student at Rutgers, Victoria has interned with the New Jersey Sierra Club, New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Clean Energy Program.   Victoria notes, "Climate Access helped me to understand that it is important to highlight and communicate climate change research and campaigns in order to move forward in addressing climate change through policy. All of these experiences expanded my love for environmental and energy issues, and provided me with the knowledge/skills to turn that love into a career."
