Using Film to Tell A Rutgers Scientist's Story

September 10, 2013. Using Film to Tell A Rutgers Scientist's Story. Ann Marie Carlton, assistant professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at Rutgers and an RCI affiliate, turned to the Rutgers Center for Digital Filmmaking to document her research on the slow pace of atmospheric warming in parts of the Southeast United States relative to global trends. The film, Skycatcher, will capture Carlton's research site near Brent, Alabama, where atmospheric samples are collected under a National Science Foundation grant through a project called the Southeast Atmosphere Study.
