The EPA has released the report Climate Change in the United States: Benefts of Global Action, that details the benefits of global greenhouse gas mitigation across water resources, electricity, infrastructure, public health, agriculture and forestry and ecosystems and details the risks of failure to act.

Pope Francis released a 184-page papal encyclical on June 18, 2015 noting, among other environmental issues that “climate change is global problem with grave implications…It represents one of the principal challenges facing humanity in our day.
